Electronic Publications
Electronic publications are sources of information that require a network to be distributed. Examples of electronic publications are blogs, wikis, podcasts, emails, and websites. In publications, we will focus on creating the Lakeview Middle School yearbook as our electronic publications projects since it is a completely on-line creation process, requires the use of networked computers and downloading capabilities, and relies on managing the website for sales.
Students in the Fall semester will be asked to create two different two-page layouts for use in this year's yearbook. They will receive photography training and practice, and will be expected to provide their own unique photographs for their pages. They will also be trained on using the Josten's website and graphic design elements to both design and create their layouts.
